Buddy’s Carpet Care specializes in upholstery cleaning! We clean the furniture no other company will touch.
Buddy’s Carpet Care can clean your upholstery on your premises or bring it back to our facility.
We have a 10 step cleaning process for upholstery:
Step 1: Pre-Inspection
Buddy’s thoroughly inspects and tests the fabric on each piece of furniture to determine the safest and most effective cleaning method. We inspect for:
- Construction of Fabric
- Application of a Finish
- Determination of Fiber Content
- Soiling conditions
Step 2: Pre-vacuum
Your upholstery will be thoroughly vacuumed to remove dry soil. Removing dry soil is one of the most important steps in cleaning.
Step 3: Pre-Spray & Pre-Spot
The fabric is “pre-sprayed” with special cleaning compounds specially designed for your particular fabric and soil condition. This suspends the soil to make rinsing more effective.
Step 4: Pre-Agitate
The pre-spray will be worked into the fabric with a white towel or a horsehair brush, especially designed for this use.
Step 5: Rinse and Extract
When the soil has been suspended and loosened, we thoroughly flush the fabric with low moisture upholstery extraction tools. This step disinfects and deodorizes fabric.
Step 6: Neutralize
Every piece that we clean is pH balanced so there is no sticky residue left behind.
Step 7: Pre-Spot Treatment
If any spots are not removed during the cleaning process, specialty-spotting techniques are employed – we have written procedures for every situation.
Step 8: Speed Dry
High velocity air movers are set in place to speed dry the upholstery.
Step 9: Post Cleaning
When the fabric has a knap, the knap is set in one direction using a grooming brush or white towel.
Step 10: Post Inspection
Piece is inspected by technician.
